Serving as chief resident of an 11 resident program covering six hospitals, three surgical centers, and two healthcare systems totaling 30 surgical attendings. In this position I organized schedules and academics for the program while overseeing the residency operations day to day.  I have had the opportunity to develop extensive personnel management in this position while liaison between the foot and ankle surgical service and the hospitals nine other residency programs. While in this position I was responsible for coordinating the care of up to thirty inpatients and has allowed for further development of my management skills.

This three-year PSMR/RRA program allows for a wide variety of foot and ankle surgical training with over 30 surgical attendings. While in this position I have covered cases at program covering six hospitals, three surgical centers, and two healthcare systems. This program has afforded me extensive weekly rotations at both a traditional podiatry practice and a sports medicine orthopedic group. Also accomplished during residency is completion of a pediatric orthopedic rotation at the Rubin Institute in Baltimore, MD.

While in this position, I was been able to assist first year students in the cadaver lab.  This position has helped me to develop my skills in not only peer-to-peer education but also in identifying anatomical structures in a wide variety of cadavers.
